Has it really been 10 years since Shout! Factory launched Scream Factory? It seems like only a few years since they elevated horror watching with the release of Halloween II and Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Scream Factory quickly became known for top notch transfers and bonus features that elevated fans appreciation for the movies. Right off the bat, I found myself reassessing the long-maligned Halloween III thank to the Collector’s Edition. Over the last 10 years, Scream Factory has put out remarkable boxsets including their three volumes of classic Vincent Price movies. They dared to put all three Human Centipede flicks together. The label gave us plenty of the Hammer Horror films starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. There are over 600 movies that have been released since this all started. Many of them are more than just a movie on a disc. Scream Factory can give you a convention’s worth of activity for your favorite horror movies. Recently the label launched its own channel with Scream Factory TV that you can watch online or through various systems.
