Spoilers and Review.
The book opens with the Nezha and Mother Soul, Damian Wayne Robin’s great grandmother, catching readers up on what’s happened the last three issues, as another threat looms for Nezha.
Later, Damian Wayne Robin battles his father Bruce Wayne Batman as Nezha and Mother Soul look on and coveting the helmet of Doctor Fate.
However, before Nezha can put the Doctor Fate helmet on, and all the powers of the magical beings he’s trapped in it, Batman executes his contingency plan.
Talia Al Ghul, Damian’s mother, attacks Nezha, allowing Batman to pick-up and wear the helmet of Doctor Fate.
He quickly uses the helmet to snap Damian Wayne and the rest of the Batman Family out of Nezha’s control and send most of them home.
In a cool scene vs. Nezha, Batman uses magic to create bats to attack him.
Elsewhere, Damian and Talia confront Mother Soul, their relative, with Talia wanting to kill her, Damian wanting to save her, but Mother Soul choosing her own fate.
During Batman’s battle with Nezha, the latter dislodges Doctor Fate’s helmet.
However, it is destroyed with its fragments landing in the Lazarus Pits causing some kind of reaction as they battle in the astral realm.
Later, Damian Wayne impales Nezha to save his father in the real world and the latter returns the favor when Nezha attacks him.
In the midst of all this, Nezha’s own son King Fire Bull, from the pages of Monkey Prince, makes his presence felt.
The super-herpes try to revive Batman requiring Black Alice to siphon Nezha’s powers.
It works and Batman lives.
However, a depowered Nezha flees enraging King Fire Bull.
The book ends with the chain reaction caused by the fragments of Doctor Fate’s helmet causing the mountain to erupt spewing Lazarus Elixir everywhere.
