Justice Society Of America #3 Spoilers and Review.
The issue opens in 1945.
The Unknown Soldier with Sgt. Rock and Easy Company attack Per Degaton and his mentor.
They get the upperhand on the villains.
However, Per Degaton is able to use their time travel device to escape two years into the future in 1947.
In 2023, the Justice League Dark are confronted by Huntress.
She is Helena Wayne from the future and daugter of Batman and Catwoman.
She has the Snow Globe that has been a time travelling device in writer Geoff Johns last few efforts for DC.
Then we pivot to 2023’s JSA taking on an army of Bizarro Supermen and the Kobra terrorist organization.
Back in 1945, a time travelling Per Degaton has an idea to presumably track the Huntress through time.
Next, in 2023 again, the Justice Society of America is regrouping at the JSA Brownstone.
Where they debate bringing Batman into the meeting since he’s Huntress’ future father.
However, looks like Per Degaton’s idea pays off as confronts the Huntress and the modern-day JSA promising them their death.
The Pulse.
Another action-packed story with some cool moments in past and present with art teams for each timeframe that capture the feel of the time. Time travel stories can be tough to tell, but this one does it’s best to be accessible and mostly succeeds. I am still infatuated by the snow globe, but also intrigued by the cliffhanger. 7.5 out of 10.
