The dream is the unifying of both sets of parents to create an extended family. But the reality is a bit more complicated and most the time nightmarish. Instead of a Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving painting, you’re stuck in a Bravo reality show with tables about to get flipped. About My Father is about one of those time when a couple brings together their parents except one Dad is Robert De Niro and the other father is not. The movie comes out on Blu-ray and DVD in August.
