Rabblecast 611 – The Titan Submersible Tragedy, Reactions to The Flash

By now, the tragedy of the Titan submersible has spread far and wide. Five individuals, including one of the founders of OceanGate, Stockton Rush left on a deep sea journey destined to view the wreckage of, The Titanic. When the underwater craft missed its window to resurface, news spread quickly. What started as a rescue effort eventually became a recovery effort as the time limit for the on-board air supply ran out and a small debris field was found not far from the site of The Titantic wreckage. We try to piece together the timeline of events and various safety concerns that arose prior to the fateful trip.

Discovery continues an unsettling trend of poor opening weekends. What happened prior to the film’s release and what could have contributed to its subpar box office numbers?
