There is nothing finer than to sit back on Thanksgiving morning and turn on the TV to watch a huge heaping of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as the turkey sits in the oven. This is a tradition that started back in 1991 on Comedy Central. Now the celebration of cheesy movies and celluloid turkeys will be available on various digital platforms including the MST3K FAST channel that’s free on various services including PlutoTV and Tubi. This year is special since movies from The Return and The Gauntlet that ran on Netflix will be part of the FAST Channel. There’s enjoy a double helping of the MST3K on Thanksgiving. Pour yourself a glass of canned wassail and get ready for a heaping helping of cinematic turkey with the return of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turkey Day Marathon starting on Thanksgiving Day on the MST3K channel.
Starting at 3 am ET / 12 am PT on Thursday, November 27, we’re serving up double the cheesy goodness with the Double Troubled Features marathon! This year’s event marks the first time that all episodes from Seasons 11 and 12 will be available to stream for free, so we’ve paired each episode from The Return and The Gauntlet with a classic MST3K episode, giving MSTies across the country another reason to be thankful this Turkey Day.
For fans unable to tune in on Turkey Day itself, we’ll be dishing up double features all weekend long, with 20 double feature pairings of classic and revival episodes streaming through Sunday, November 30th.
