Normally we don’t cover Formula 1 news except when a major star gets involved with a team, we’re all over it. In this case you have the legendary Godzilla stomping on the TGR Haas team. They’ve even come up with a cool logo for this collaboration. Here’s the press release from Toho:

Unite to Unleash Godzilla at the Pinnacle of Motorsport
Godzilla is storming onto the Formula One grid through an unprecedented collaboration, appearing at marquee race weekends starting with the Japanese Grand Prix.
Los Angeles, CA – March 18, 2026 – TOHO CO., LTD and TOHO International are proud to announce a groundbreaking season-long collaboration with TGR Haas F1 Team, the American-licensed F1 racing team, marking the first-ever collaboration with an entertainment IP in the history of TGR Haas F1 Team. This extraordinary partnership will see Godzilla enter the world of Formula One, merging cinematic legacy with the high-speed precision of elite motorsport.
The collaboration will make its global debut during the Japanese Grand Prix, taking place March 27–29. The first major activation will be the reveal of a special-edition race car livery, unveiled at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya on March 24, offering fans an early look at the powerful fusion of pop culture and racing innovation.
Following the unveiling event, an exhibition livery will be on display from March 25 to March 30 at the central Marketplace area on the 2nd floor of Haneda Airport Terminal 2, one of Japan’s major international gateways.

Throughout the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship, the partnership will feature a special edition car livery for the race, dynamic slate of integrated branding, original digital content, limited-edition merchandise, and race-weekend activations designed to engage fans across both motorsport and global pop culture communities.
Following its debut in Tokyo, the collaboration will also take center stage at the United States Grand Prix, taking place October 23–25, bringing Godzilla to American racing fans. These events also align ahead of the U.S. theatrical release of Godzilla Minus Zero, arriving in theaters on November 6.
