George A. Romero scared audiences around globe with Night of the Living Dead. While people thought that was the peak, Romero enhanced the nightmare of the dead walking with Dawn of the Dead. He returned to this undead world a third time with Day of the Dead. While the film has been a hit on home video, the original film elements weren’t used for transfers. After decades, the folks at Scream Factory have found the good stuff last year. Now they can release a 4K UHD of the movie that shows off the amazing effects of what happens when humanity must hide below the surface to survive.
