Web Exclusive of P.O. Box Tinto Brass heats up Summer

Disc Announcements, News

Tinto Brass is one of the greatest directors of Erotic European Films. Over the last few years, Cult Epics has done an amazing job of showing there’s more to his work than Caligula (which he didn’t finish as Penthouse founder and producer Bob Guccione took over the movie). Now that I’ve seen uncut 4K UHD versions of The Key, Cheeky!, Frivolous Lola and All Ladies Do It; I believe in the lustful cinema of Tinto Brass. Now another film from this period is getting the upgrade with P.O. Box Tinto Brass coming out on 4K UHD. This film has Tinto Brass at the center as women write him about their personal experiences. He imagines the writer’s adventures that are full of flirtations and seductions. Cult Epics is releasing a web exclusive limited-edition boxset of P.O. Box Tinto Brass with reproduction lobby cards and the documentary Istintobrass. Here’s the press release from Cult Epics with all the details:

P.O. BOX TINTO BRASS
Dir. Tinto Brass, 1995

Italian director Tinto Brass is known as the absolute master of erotica, creator of works like All Ladies Do ItFrivolous Lola and Paprika. His gift at perfectly portraying the beauty of the female body has made him celebrated by both men and women. And it is precisely the latter category that sends him boxes full of fan letters.

P.O. Box Tinto Brass is a collection of those letters, photos and videos of female sexual fantasies. This erotic comedy featuring the Maestro himself, with a score by Riz Ortolani, contains a succession of exciting, downright sensational and sometimes even shocking material. Cult Epics presents the Uncut version in a new 4K transfer
with both the original Italian language track and the English dub.
