As reported earlier Vince McMahon injured his knee, but is notorious for not selling an injury, even under extreme pain. McMahon is said to have great pride, as well as not wanting to sell an injury to act as example to his wrestlers about working injured. Reportedly this could prevent any rumors about the injury, because no one would want to be credited with starting rumors about Vince.
The finish of the Royal Rumble match was slightly altered. The end was to feature more interaction between Batista and Cena, including a longer finishing sequence. The event ran long, and things had to be changed to get everything into the 3 hour PPV window.
The concussion suffered by Randy Orton during the match was a work, and Orton was fine after the match. With Batista sliding into the main event against HHH, Orton is undergoing a character change of some sort that will be related to the concussion. It will be interesting to see how the angle develops to avoid Orton being lost in the shuffle for WM21.
