In Hindsight – Survivor Thursday

Shows

So here we are, another Thursday, another week of me telling you what to read before you sit down in front of the telly to watch four tribes going to war.

For those of you that like the spoilers, check out Murtz at his spoilerific best.

And speaking of spoilers, let’s take a look at how the Crystal Ball is doing:

The Crystal Ball
Week Predicted Actual
Tribe Castaway Tribe Castaway
1 Hiki Stephanie Hiki Sekou
2 Aitu Billy Aitu Billy

Running about 75% right now. Not too bad.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s get to our alumni.

First up is Sandra, who talks about how J.P. is like Cao Boi. Personally, I don’t see it, but that’s just me.

Let’s not forget Eliza and Murtz. They’re pretty in sync with their picks this week.

Next we’ve got my Asian brother Dan, who laments that he was cast into the wrong season. Runner-up Matthew as well.

Kim was a bit bored with this episode, so I hope her nails look good.

Finally, we’ve got the one and only BobDawg. ‘Nuff said.

As for non-celebrity columists, Romo gives us his thoughts.

Me, I think that throwing an immunity challenge us simply the dumbest thing anyone can do in this game. I’d think that if Dora were doing her power rankings, Ozzy’s stock would’ve dropped way down. Simply put, if you’re targeting Billy for elimination, save that until the time when you legitimately lose a challenge. Now, if you lose again, you’re gonna have to get rid of someone else, and guess what? It could be you. And if you think a merge will save you, think again. You don’t think that Cristina and Cecilia won’t give you up if the others ask what was up with the challenge? Think again.

Yul is proving to be the strongest player so far, but it remains to be seen if he can make it to the merge and run the table like Terry did. Looking back on Exile Island, I think that having the Idol in his back pocket gave Terry a little extra confidence, as he had a “second chance” in the game should he lose an Immunity Challenge.
