In Hindsight – Survivor Sunday

Shows

As you may have noticed, we’ve had some problems with the website, so unfortunately I missed my usual Thursday spot.

Tonight’s the finale, so let’s take a look at the Power Rankings and my predicted order of finish.

Power Rankings
20. Sekou Bunch (Hiki)
19. Virgilo “Billy” Garcia (Aitu)
18. Cecelia Mansilla (Aitu)
17. J.P. Calderon (Raro)
16. Stephannie Favor (Raro)
15. Anh Tuan “Cao Boi” Bui (Aitu)
14. Cristina Coria (Raro)
13. Jessica “Flica” Smith (Aitu)

JURY
12. Brad Virata (Raro)
11. Rebecca Borman (Raro)
10. Jenny Guzon-Bae (Raro)
9. Nathan “Nate” Gonzalez (Aitutonga)
8. Candice Woodcock (Aitutonga)
7. Jonathan Penner (Aitutonga) [6] – It was gonna happen sooner or later, and you knew it. You were just hoping that it would be later, and that you’d get $100,000 out of it.

6. Parvati Shallow (Aitutonga) [5] – Finally, somebody looked up and realized that you were a threat. And all it took was some flirting with Ozzy (with less than six days left) to see that.

5. Adam Gentry (Aitutonga) [7] – Adam made it farther than Parvati based on strategy. It will be interesting to see if he can parlay that into reaching final Tribal Council.

4. Sundra Oakley (Aitutonga) [N/C] – Sundra seems to be, as they say, playing for position. She’s not a real threat to win the game, but stranger things have happened. At this point, she’s probably the best choice to go up against in the final Tribal Council, but I’m thinking that it may not happen.

3. Rebekah “Becky” Lee (Aitutonga) [2] – Becky is still in Yul’s ear, and while she’s not romantically involved with him, she realized that she needs the big guy around. Her stock actually dropped this week, but her idea to boot Ozzy holds merit.

2. Oscar “Ozzy” Lusth (Aitutonga) BEST PLAYER [3] – Ozzy is a very real threat to win it all if he makes the final Tribal Council, and he’s done it simply by trying to win. There is probably only one roadblock left for Ozzy, and that’s if he wins a car.

1. Yul Kwon (Aitutonga) WORST PLAYER [N/C] – Was Yul really that bad on Thursday? No, not really, but then again noone played that poorly this week. Everyone is now playing the game the best way that they know how. But since I’m basing this on two weeks of gameplay, Yul’s decision to boot Jonathan still ranks as a bad play. Will it affect his winning a million dollars? It’s all up to the jury now.

That’s all for this season. Come back to Reality Dish at around 5pm for the Crystal Ball’s final prediction.
