NBA News: Chicago Bulls Agree To Extension With Forward Joakim Noah

News

A few days after losing Carlos Boozer to injury, they extend Joakim Noah.

The Chicago Bulls and Foward Joakim Noah have reportedly reached an agreement on a five-year-contract-extension worth approximately $60 million.

Noah averaged 10 points and 11 rebounds last season for the Bulls, but with the news of Carlos Boozer missing 8 weeks, Noah will be expected to handle more of an offensive load.

The Bulls had been working behind the scenes to get the deal done despite rumors that Noah would be the centerpiece of a deal to bring Carmelo Anthony to Chicago.
