WWE is talking about expanding to a third developmental territory, and has had talks with Rick Bassman’s Ultimate Pro Wrestling, with which WWE used to have a similar relationship. John Cena, Masters, Reigns, Victoria, Heidenreich and Nathan Jones got WWE contracts out of UPW in the past, and Samoa Joe started in UPW. What’s holding this up is UPW has a relationship with K-1 and WWE wants exclusivity.
