Smackdown taping results from Green Bay according to Dave Maxie and Mike Lee-Thompson at PWInsider.com:

Ken Kennedy came out first (to a huge pop) and cut a promo, hyping some of the matches. There were lots of “Kennedy” chants. He did his normal introduction at the end, but after saying he was from Green Bay, he said “Until I move to Minnesota.” Obviously keeping his heel persona.

Dark/Velocity Matches:

1.) Tatanka over Nunzio.
2.) Gunner Scott over Simon Dean.
3.) Orlando Jordan over Adrian Lynch.
4.) Vito over Chris Guy/Colt Cabana.
5.) Jamie Noble & Kid Kash over Funaki & Scotty 2 Hotty.

Smackdown:

The opening of Smackdown was Booker T coming out with the throne, robe, crown, and scepter in the ring and cutting a promo about how he’ll win, past winners and such. He ended up putting on the King stuff, and then Bobby Lashley came out and speared him.

1.) Brian Kendrick (w/Paul London) over Johnny Nitro (w/Joey Mercury, Melina).

2.) Paul Burchill over Rasheed Brown. William Regal was at ringside dressed as a buxom wench.

3.) Matt Hardy over Road Warrior Animal in a very quick and boring match. Matt (not sure if it was his fault or not) screwed up the first Twist of Fate attempt and immediately did it again, so I’d imagine that will be edited out. It was a quick match. Matt faces Booker T next week in the King of the Ring tournament.

4.) JBL over Chris Benoit in a steel cage match. Benoit did a German off the top rope, which got a “Holy sh*t” chant. At one point Jillian accidentally shut the door in JBL’s face. Eventually, JBL grabbed the ref during a German attempt, low-blowed Benoit and went out the door.

Dalip Singh has been renamed The Great Khali. He and Daivari cut a promo in the ring.

5.) Gymini (w/Simon Dean) over the Mexicools.

6.) Kurt Angle over Randy Orton. He made Orton tap out to the ankle lock. After the match, he held onto the anklelock for approximately forever. Angle then left the ring to go to the back, but came out and did it again and “broke” Orton’s ankle.

So then Orton hobbled to the back or whatever and Angle came back out. He said he accomplished one goal in breaking Orton’s ankle, but he still wanted to accomplish his other goal – winning the title back. He demanded the triple threat cage match still take place. Teddy Long ruled that Mark Henry would take Orton’s place. Mysterio pinned Angle in a quick 7 minute dark match that was not very good.
