Blu-Ray (4k) Review – Fifty Shades Freed

Blu-ray Reviews, Film, Reviews

You know how to really mess with a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey franchise? Have them watch The Fall, an Irish TV show currently on Netflix that stars Christian Grey (Jamie Donan) as a BDSM inspired rapist who does all sorts of evil, evil things. Throw in Gillian Anderson and it’s a really interesting series.

It’s certainly more interesting than any part of the Fifty Shades franchise, which started out as a romantic drama involving a suburban housewife’s version of BDSM meshed into a sort of soap opera semantics and just concluded with soap opera semantics.

The franchise’s finale follows Mr. and Mrs. Grey (Donan and Dakota Johnson) as they get into more shenanigans. Throw in some BDSM and that’s pretty much all you need to know. It’s going to be awful, Donan and Johnson are naked a lot and well … its awful. But at least there won’t be any more of these, right?

A deleted scene and some goodbye EPK pieces are included.
