Dave Scherer on PWI reports that the buyrates for WWE Pay Per View events continue to drop. The estimates for Wrestlemania 25 are 970,000 buys, Backlash had 185,000 and Judgment Day had 235,000. For all three events the numbers are lower than in the previous two years. The decline in US buys is event sharper, since those numbers include new overseas PPV markets that WWE did not have in previous years.
