The UFC will broadcast a portion of the undercard to UFC 103 on Spike TV, according to Kevin Iole. UFC 103 will air for one hour on Spike TV starting at 9pm ET. Fights expected to air on Spike include Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller and Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal.
UFC 103 takes place in Dallas on September 19, the same night that Floyd Mayweather Jr and Juan Manuel Marquez battle on pay-per-view from Las Vegas. Both events are competing for buyrates from the combat sports audience. The Mayweather-Marquez event just finalized an undercard earlier this week. While boxing pay-per-views are notorious for weak undercards, Mayweather-Marquez is sporting an interesting set of fights to lead into their main event. It’s going to be interesting to see how this continues to play out.
