The trailer for the latest adaptation of Jane Eyre, the classic Charlotte Bronte novel, is now online and the film looks quite good. While you watch, keep an eye out for some repurposed music from Dario Argento‘s Suspiria.
The film is directed by Cary Fukunaga (Sin Nombre) and stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), Michael Fassbender (Centurion) and Judi Dench. Jamie Bell, Sally Hawkins and Imogen Poots also appear.
Jane Eyre has been adapted several times with actors such as Orson Wells, George C. Scott, William Hurt, Elle Macpherson and Anna Paquin. The latest version will open in select cities on March 11, 2011 from Focus Features.
