Well, that does sort of ‘justify’ the two spin-off Justice Leagues to a certain extent. Batman is a member of the JLI and Deadman is a member of Justice League Dark, thus each of the spin-off JL’s have at least one member on the ‘core team’. So the JLD fits as the ‘paranormal special ops team’, while the JLI is well … the team that can deal with international issues more easily, while the core JL team is probably more about threats to the entire planet, like alien invasions and such.

With both Green Arrow and Hawkman, looks like they may give them an opportunity to renew their liberal/conservative back and forth.

One more thing … look at Batman’s costume. It looks like Superman and Batman are both wearing similar designs, just in their own respective colors. Some sort of handwave to explain why Superman doesn’t rip up his own clothes moving at Superspeed or deflecting bullets that doesn’t rely on his subtle tactile telekinesis aura.
