One of the films being positioned for an Oscar this year is the biopic My Week with Marilyn, starring former nominee Michelle Williams as the doomed actress. Now it has a proper trailer.
Plot Summary: My Week with Marilyn is based on the events that occurred when the famous – in some circles, infamous – blonde arrived in the UK to shoot Olivier’s The Prince and the Showgirl. As seen through the eyes of Olivier’s assistant Colin Clarke (Eddie Redmayne) it was yet another dramatic time in Monroe’s life. The production was famously stormy: the actress was then married to playwright Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott) and suffered a miscarriage during shooting; her weight fluctuated and her punctuality problems were even worse than normal.
