It looks like Eli will stay alive in Charming.
Rockmond Dunbar was initially expecting to be killed off but the plan has changed according to the actor.
“The way it’s set up now, there will be some type of continuation [next season],” he said. “I don’t die, so that’s a good thing!” In tonight’s episode, the show will begin to explore why the cop is sticking around, starting with his desire to protect Tara (Maggie Siff).
“Eli will become a little bit more involved [with the hit Clay put out on Tara] because it’s happening in his town,” said Dunbar. “Any threat on someone’s life is very serious and he’s taking it that way. So, you’ll definitely see more of that storyline develop and hopefully it will not come to a close by the end of the season because I think it’s really interesting.”
