Many are speculating that Violet Harmon’s (Taissa Farmiga) recent attempt at suicide with pills along with the fact that she was missing from last week’s episode means that the teen is already dead and has joined her boyfriend in the ghost world. Apparently all will be revealed in tonight’s episode.

“You never know with Ryan Murphy,” Farmiga said. “He can be thinking one thing and then just pull something else right out from under you. But yes, you definitely get your answer in this episode.”

FX’s synopsis for tonight’s 10th episode says that Violet will “learn the rules of the house.”

“Some secrets start to be uncovered, and there are so many of them….. Violet is just trying to take it all in, but it’s a lot. And it’s dark.”

As for the season finale which is scheduled to air on December 21, the actress says that loose ends will be tied up and that despite an ending that is “dark” that “it’s happy… and it’s not.”

As for Season 2, which FX greenlit a while back, Farmiga confirms that “the last few minutes” of the finale will hint at what’s to come.
