With the current arc on Green Lantern we’ve been promised all kinds of goodies having to do with the Indigo Tribe; namely their origin. Two issues in and we haven’t seen all too much, at least not until Hal stumbles across a giant statue of his predecessor.
We’ve heard Abin’s name in their oath, as well as a ringless Indigo yelling for him. His story obviously has something to do with the Indigo Tribe.
Was he their jailer? Was their homeworld some space prison of which he was the warden? Did he harness the Indigo Light of compassion as a way to rehabilitate the most hardened of criminals?
Hopefully we’ll know by next month!
