Mike Goldberg Goes On The Record Regarding Absence From UFC 155
by Scott "Kubryk" Sawitz on January 21, 2013

On today’s “MMA Hour” with Ariel Helwani veteran UFC play by play announcer Mike Goldberg went on the record, officially, regarding his absence from UFC 155. Apparently Goldberg had a chest virus he picked up during the UFC’s last jaunt to Brazil for Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar; having asthma since a teenager it was a “perfect storm” to leave him hospitalized.

Per Goldberg prior reports of him having a problem with drugs were false.

Goldberg returns this weekend to his regular duties as play by play man at UFC on Fox 6 in Chicago, IL.
