For the first award this year, we will be giving away the BEST NEW TOYLINE. Many new lines were revealed at this years Toy Fair, which is common. NECA had Kick-Ass 2 & The Lone Ranger, McFarlane with Assassin’s Creed, Mezco had Breaking Bad & Axe Cop, and so on. However, there was one like that stood out.
Mattel teased us over the summer with a new Batman line, but they seemingly pulled out all the stops to make sure we see the acurate likenesses of Adam West, Burt Ward, Burgess Meredith & Frank Gorshin. Also confirmed was Cesar Romero, complete with painted over mustache, and The Catwoman! Little quirks like “Surf’s Up, Jokers Down” Batman, complete with surfing board & swimming trunks, and the side of the skyscraper for Batman & Robin to scale put this line at the top of the list!
So that is why the InsidePulse.com New Toyline of Toy Fair 2013 Award goes to Mattel’s Classic Batman!
