Detective Comics #23.2: Harley Quinn #1
The issue opens with sequences in the present day DC Comics New 52. The intervening pages chronicle Harleen Quinzel’s transition to Harley Quinn, the Joker’s former muse. She makes a big decision by the end of Detective Comics #23.2: Harley Quinn #1 about whether to take this opportunity to leave the Suicide Squad or not.
Aquaman #23.2: Black Manta #1
The issue chronicles the moments between the panels of Forever Evil #1 and explains how Black Manta escaped from Belle Reve penitentiary. Through the course of the issue we see Manta’s take on the Crime Syndicate and a decision he makes concerning his allegiances by the end of Aquaman #23.2: Black Manta #1.
Batman and Robin #23.2: Court of Owls #1 and Batman #23.2: Riddler #1
There are some small moments in Batman and Robin #23.2: Court of Owls #1, Batman #23.2: Riddler #1 that showcase fallout from Forever Evil #1. The Court of Owls page is on the below left while the cliff-hanger Riddler page is on the below right.
Justice League #23.2: Killer Frost #1
Firestorm arch-villain is also conflicted over the Crime Syndicate in Justice League #23.2: Killer Frost #1. She seems to be leaning towards a decision by the end of the issue.
