As the opening night film at Fantastic Fest 2013, Robert Rodriguez has cut together a new restricted trailer for Machete Kills. Promoting the 3 B’s (Babes, Blood, and Badasses) here we have a 90-second trailer that is chock-full of blood and Danny Trejo and Mel Gibson being badasses, not so much boobage, though. Nevertheless, there’s plenty creative kills we haven’t seen yet, including one that will turn your insides out.

Once again, Machete Kills is directed by Robert Rodriguez, famous for such films as El Mariachi, Desperado, and Sin City. Danny Trejo returns as Machete, and now he’s recruited by the President of the United States (played by newcomer Carlos Estevez) to take down Voz (Mel Gibson), an eccentric billionaire arms dealer with a bomb he plans to use to spread war and anarchy.
In terms of eye candy for the guy viewers to ogle, there’s Michelle Rodriguez (Fast & Furious), Sofia Vergara (TV’s “Modern Family”), Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, and Jessica Alba.
Machete Kills will have its world premiere Thursday, September 19th, in Austin, Tex. It will open nationwide in theaters on October 11th.
