Regarded by many as the best show currently on the air, Sons of Anarchy returns to FX for its final season this October.
Since the finale which saw Gemma brutally murder Tara, fans of SAMCRO have been anxiously awaiting details for how the show will play out.
At this past week’s Television Critics Association summer press tour in LA, the first few details of the new season were released.
A sneak peek video showed Jax telling Gemma how much he loved her (blisfully unaware that his mother was the one who murdered his wife).
Actor Charlie Hunnam said his relationship with Gemma is “similar, if not better than ever” in Season 7.
“This final betrayal [has] completely demolished any potential of him trusting anyone outside of his immediate circle,” Hunnam explained. “In all of the scenes, I’ve been trying to instill a little of that sense. Unless you’re my mom, my children or one of the Sons, you’d better watch out.”
That said, Season 7 isn’t as gloomy as it initially appears. Hunnam hinted at a new romance on the show, admitting that Tig will finally have a love interest.
