When you are as tough as Floyd Mayweather Jr. is, you can always back up your controversial opinions.
The boxing superstar (who has had his own issues with domestic abuse) says that the NFL should have stuck with their initial ruling on Ray Rice’s two-game suspension and that their discipline should not have been changed as a result of the video that was recently released that showed Rice viciously knocking his wife out in an elevator.
“I think there’s a lot worse things that go on in other people’s households, also,” Mayweather said. “It’s just not caught on video, if that’s safe to say.”
