The conclusion of the “Project Entry†storyline, we have everyone’s favorite extreme left-wing soldier Ben Santini finishing the horrific tale of “Project Entry†and his encounter with the villainous “Kid Miracleman meets American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken†villain known as The Devil to Flint. He also makes a deal with Flint towards her involvement with the team: hunt down and kill “The Devil†and he’ll let her join the team and share with her all of his deep dark secrets, like what he does to evil racist senators who orchestrate genocide on parallel earths for no other reason than to try and kill one single man.
The issue focuses a great deal on the relationship between Flint and Santini as Micah gives hints of a possible romantic relationship between the two. He also gets in a good joke about the physical problems with having sex with a super-strong, invulnerable woman like Flint with computer geek Tefibi making a “Woman of Steel, Man of Kleenex†joke about what would happen to Ben’s penis if he ever had attempted to have sex with Flint. We also get a good joke in regards to everyone’s favorite right-wing, utter and complete worthless news network due to their open bias towards conservatives views station “Fox News,†which is referred to by everyone in this issue by the appropriate “Faux News†name.
Finally, the issue ends with a revelation about the identity of the armed robbers from SW #11, which leads us to our introduction to the villainous new “Big Bad†for the Stormwatch series. His name is Citizen Soldier, an angry and vengeful Captain America analogue and along with the Suiciders, will be a major thorn in the side of the Stormwatch team in the months to come.
