– Billy Gunn has been given a leave of absense from WWE house shows, according to PWTorch.com, which explains why Bob Holly – his tag-team partner and fellow “disgruntled veteran” – has been rather directionless lately.

– Jerry Jarrett was hospitalized again over the weekend, according to WrestlingObserver.com, due to an irregular heartbeat. He isn’t expected at the iMPACT! tapings on Tuesday.

– JBL and Booker T wrestled yesterday in Springfield, MO, with JBL working as the heel and retaining the WWE Title with a low blow.

– The Hollywood Reporter today ran a story which was syndicated by Reuters, on Taboo Tuesday, clarifying that fans will choose who faces HHH, but only from group WWE determines in advance. They’ll also be able to choose from multiple choices what the divas will wear in a match. WWE is planning to push “RAW Interactive” with fan voting on the shows starting on 10/25.

– Jamie Noble will begin appearing in New Japan in October in a tag team with the American Dragon, according to PWInsider.com and WrestlingObserver.com.

– According to PWInsider.com, new characters working the RAW house shows this week included: Simon Dean, Gene Snitsky and Muhammed Hussan (OVW performer Mark Magnus accompanied by a manager (Shawn Daivari) in an Arab gimmick). The site is also reporting that Pat Patterson is joining the RAW roster this weekend to observe and offer suggestions to talent and management.

– The Hurricane is set to turn into a full heel, with management feeling the character has run its course as a fan favorite, according to PWInsider.com.
