– Vince McMahon is not at RAW tonight, putting Stephanie in charge of the writing process, and according to PWInsider.com’s Dave Scherer, chaos has ensued. Vince is available via phone and has already made changes in the show, but normal agent and production meetings have been delayed about two hours. WWE is hoping that with no baseball playoffs and a lackluster NFL game on tonight, the 3.0 rating from last week will go up.
– Bruce Prichard is also at RAW, having returned from his personal leave, and has produced some segments of the show. He will return to Smackdown tomorrow, and some workers are less than thrilled. No word yet on if he will go back to running the SD writing team.
– After aggravating a knee injury last week on RAW, yet working at Taboo Tuesday in the World Championship match, Shawn Michaels underwent successful knee surgery with Dr. Jacobs in San Antonio. The full story can be found on WWE.com here.
