RAW off-air notes and HEAT taping results according to Blake Neal and PWInsider.com:

Dark Matches:

Johnny Nitro/Chris Cage vs. Johnny Jeter/Matt Capotelli

Matt/Jeter win in an ok match…Matt has really improved from the last time I saw him. My friend was joking and said that Matt and Jeter reminded him of the Rockers.

Heat Matches:

Tyson Tomko def. Hurricane

Viscera def. Local Guy (couldn’t make out his name)

Batista def. Val Venis

Chris Jericho def. Stevie Richards

Heat Notes:

The Coach got TONS of heel heat.
Batista and Jericho got MAJOR POPS.
I was surprised to see Vis but he looked horrible.
Tomko came out to Christan’s old theme.
No pyro or anything

Raw Notes:

Everyone has read the results but here are a few things that I don’t know if they came across well on TV.. I was in a suite and had Spike TV on and there was not much that was not seen.

Eugene was over in a big way and when they won the titles the roof blew off the Fieldhouse

The segment with Maven and HHH was way too long and the crowd was getting restless.

The Edge/Christian tag match was like old times but the crowd was confused with how Edge was booked beating up Christian after the match.

The Pillowfight was HORRIBLE, enough said.

The Simon Dean thing was stupid and a lot of people left for a restroom break during this. As did I, and heard a lot of people say how stupid it was.

NOBODY thought Maven would win the Main Event…not until the very end did the crowd get into the match and I couldn’t understand why. Jericho/Benoit made that match.

Overall…Probably not the best Raw I have been to, but It was a solid show.

By the way the new interviewer is HORRIBLE!!

Biggest Pops:
Randy Orton
Eugene/Regal
Benoit
Batista/Jericho on Heat

Most heat:
Coach
Maven
Edge
La Resistance
Simon Dean segment

Triple H and Evolution got a mixed reaction and much of the crowd wanted Maven to join Evolution
