I tell you this all the time. This is a great comic. Every month, it delivers one of the best and most entertaining 22 pages that you will come across. The art and the story matches perfectly, and that is tougher to do than you would think.

This month is no exception, with the conclusion of an arc that has had the trademark excellent character writing balanced with a thrilling plot. Vaughn knows how to keep that balance better than anyone else.

The art was done by two different pencillers, but I’ll be honest with you, I couldn’t tell where one ended and the other began. It was pretty seamless.

So in this issue, we have sex, fights, double crossings, and assignations. All in 22 pages. It’s tough to beat that. This seems like, down the road, will turn out to be a key issue.

I’m sorry if my review lacks panache, but I’ve explained this many many times before, that this is simply an excellent book. I cannot reiterate that enough. So stop reading my paltry review, and read this comic.
