On the eve of a Backstreet Boys reunion in the summer, one member has found himself in trouble with the law…

Nick Carter, 25, was arrested for driving under the influence in Huntington Beach, Calif. According to police. Carter’s vehicle was also impounded. Not surprisingly, Carter could not be reached for comment, but his publicist released the following statement: “Nick Carter deeply regrets the current situation. He is on doctor-prescribed medication and was unaware of its interaction possibilities…”

Some details have been released about the new System of a down album…

The album is called “Mezmerize,” and the first single will be “B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bombs).” B.Y.O.B. is expected to hit radio airwaves later this month. In addition, Mezmerize is being produced by Rick Rubin (Johnny Cash, Slayer).

System of the down expects to tour America this summer.

Don’t Believe the Truth” will be the title of the new Oasis album…

The last Oasis cd was Heathen Chemistry, released to little fanfare in 2002. When asked about the album’s first single Lyla, singer Nole Gallager stated: “We wrote 66 tracks and ‘Lyla’ was one that we revisited late on and it’s ended up on the album. I’m happy with every track on the album.” Oasis is headed back on the road, beginning on June 17th in Toronto, Canada. Oasis has already sold out three shows in Manchester, England.
