Pacers, Wizards Earn Playoff Spots

The Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards both earned themselves a trip to the NBA Playoffs last night. Indiana scored a 90-86 victory over the New Jersey Nets thanks to 22 points from Reggie Miller.

The Washington Wizards meanwhile defeated the Chicago Bulls 93-82 to get into the post season for the first time since 1997. Larry Hughes sank 23 while Antawn Jamison scored 19 to help the Wizards clinch the win.

The Nets loss dropped them 1 ½ back in the race for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
