Last night’s Smackdown saw the debut of a new tag team in WWE: MNM. Standing for “Melina, Nitro and Mercury” the new team came to the ring during Carlito’s Cabana, with red carpet, paparazzi, fur coats and jeans.
Melina, who was briefly on RAW last year, introduced former Tough Enough Champion and Eric Bischoff side-kick Johnny Nitro, who was accompanied by Joey Mercury (who has wrestled on Heat and Velocity in the past as Joey Matthews), as the newest tag team on SD. She name dropped, made a fantastic ring entrance, and showed pretty good mic skills … and they’ve already put in a challenge to Rey and Eddie that they are going for the championships.

With recent releases, WWE.com shows even roster totals for RAW and SD for possibly the first time ever. RAW shows 48 superstars, while SD shows 47 (although for some reason Hiroko’s bio has been removed, without explanation).
