While Guy Pearce has been heavily rumored to play Gotham District Attorny Harvey Dent in the next installment of the Batman franchise, new reports have surfaced that he may in fact be out of the running.
According to said reports, actor Liev Schreiber, best known as Cotton Weary from the Scream series, is very much in the running to put on the pants of Gotham’s D.A.
In the sequel, Batman/Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) will apparently team up with Dent to bring down the villianous Joker (with reports coming in that he could be played by Australian actor Lachy Hulme).
If Schreiber signs for the sequel, it is highly likely he will be aboard for a third film too, where rumors have it that Dent transforms into Two Face.
