Juventud Guerrera has been telling people in Mexico that he’ll be debuting at one of the WWE TV tapings this week. This could mean a dark match, or that he is being added to the Smackdown roster, which is where the Cruiserweight Title currently resides. There have been no indications that he’d be at the ECW One Night Stand PPV, although Wrestling Observer Newsletter was reporting a few weeks ago that Juvi was all but signed, and only visa issues needed to be worked out.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that during the broadcast of Smackdown last night in Rochester, NY, advertisements ran for the upcoming July 26 Smackdown taping, listing John Cena & Batista vs. HHH & JBL as the main event. This is either a ploy to boost attendence by featuring the other brand’s stars in dark match main events, or a hint that both Batista AND HHH will be drafted to Smackdown in the coming weeks. Since the same main event is listed for the July 11 RAW show, only time will tell.
