“The only reason you were WWE champion for a year is because HHH doesn’t work Tuesdays!” – Paul Heyman, ECW One Night Stand 6.12.05

LIVE from Binghamton, NY
Hosts are Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross

Stone Cold Steve Austin comes right out to a huge pop in front of the sold out crowd. Steve thanks the crowd for the great reaction, and gets right down to business. He explains why he’s here, and introduces Muhammad Hassan. Hassan is immediately unhappy with Steve not giving a handshake, and says that he demands justice. Hassan runs down why he’s angry, and introduces a video package proving that he’s been mistreated. Austin isn’t what you would call impressed, but does agree that Hassan’s been screwed. So, Austin makes Shelton vs. Hassan for the IC title right now. How can he make matches? And how conveniant was it that Hassan was dressed to wrestle?

Muhammad Hassan(1-1) vs. Shelton Benjamin(6-2)(c) – Intercontinental Championship match
We come in with Shelton fighting out of an arm wringer, and springboarding off the ropes to get his own wristlock. Wow. Hassan drops Shelton on the top turnbuckle, and starts to take control. Vertical suplex, but another is countered by Shelton to an inside cradle for 2. Hassan clotheslines him down for 2. Hassan makes Benjamin eat turnbuckle, and goes to get the chair, but Austin takes care of it. Benjamin counters a vertical suplex into an inverted neckbreaker! Double count, but Shelton gets the upperhand and a running knee lift for 2. Splash misses, and Hassan rolls him up for 2. Muhammad fights out of a Tbone, and gets an elbow to the back of the head for 2. Shelton is almost dumped, but he lands on his feet for the springboard bulldog. Daivari distracts the ref however. Shelton takes care of him, but Hassan goes low and hooks on the Camel Clutch. Austin, having enough, breaks the move causing the DQ.

Austin still dishes out Stone Cold Stunners to the arabs, and has a few beers with Benjamin.

Backstage, Coach is seen apologizing to Bischoff about last night, but Eric says that last night never happened. Y2J comes in, and has heard that Christian is the #1 contender for the WWE championship. He’s not happy, and will show it tonight in his tag match. HHH now walks in, and HHHe wants to know who the draft pick is. Trips says that he heard that Eric is going to let the new draft pick go to the ring and talk about Batista. For some reason, this pisses him off. Ok.

Commercial break.

Chris Masters comes out and it’s time for the usual Masterlock Challenge. He’s upped the prize to $11,000 tonight. Sergeant Slaughter answers to a nice pop, but he suggests something different.

Cobra Clutch Challenge
Slaughter hooks on the move, but Masters makes the ropes and hooks on the Masterlock to end it.

Commercial break.

We get another HHH/Batista video package, recapping the WHOLE feud.

By the way, some lunatic posted these odds on the possibilities of the SD superstars coming over to RAW.

Christian & Tyson Tomko vs. Chris Jericho & John Cena
Big pop for Cena. Y2J and Christian start off. Jericho beats him down to start, and goes for an early Walls, but Tyson is tagged in. Tomko gets chopped and eats dropkick, allowing Cena to come in. John gets a reverse elbow and a vertical suplex for 1. Y2J and Cena dump the heels as we go to a:

Commercial break.

We’re back with Christian in control over Cena. Cena comes back and gets a shoulderblock for 2. Y2J tags in and he goes wild on Christian. Tyson comes in, and falls for no apparent reason. Interesting. Anyways, Tomko gains control over Chris, and gets 2 off of some punches. CC tags in, and eventually gets an inverted DDT for 2. Tomko tags back in, but Y2J hits the running enziguiri. He finally tags Cena in, and he cleans house. John gets his version of the powerbomb, which sets up the 5-knuckle shuffle. FU and it’s over.

Afterwards, Jericho is so mad of Cena’s shitty rap music playing that he attacks him for everything rock. He hooks on the Walls of Jericho just to get the point across, and gazes at the WWE championship afterwards.

Footage of the RAW Diva Search casting call.

Backstage, Y2J is seen running up to Eric Bischoff, who says that Chris has now shown that he deserves the title shot. Christian doesn’t like this news, but it’s okay, as he’s still in the match. At Vengeance, it will be Christian vs. Cena vs. Y2J for the WWE Championship. Cena then jumps Jericho for payback, while screaming the words “I’ll take you to war!”

Commercial break.

Maven vs. Viscera(2-1)
Lillian is out with Vis tonight. Maven takes it to the knee before the bell even rings, but Viscera chops the crap out of him. Missle dropkick gets 2 for Maven. Viscera does some grinding on him, and finishes it with the Sit-down powerbomb.

Backstage, Ric is convincing HHH that it doesn’t matter who is coming over to RAW. HHH gets the idea to somehow send a message to the latest pick, and show that person that they(HHH & Flair) call the shots.

Commercial break.

Kane(3-1) vs. Sylvain Grenier(1-3)
Kane attacks from the start, and pretty much stomps the hell out of him. Grenier manages to get a missle dropkick, but Kane just sits up. Big boot sets up 3, count ’em, 3 Chokeslams. Good reaction for that.

Lita interrupts the fire afterwards, as she says Kane should be used to leaving people unsatisfied. Lita calls out Snitsky, and she finally realizes that the whole baby thing wasn’t his fault. Lita thinks him with a kiss, and Gene exits. She now calls out her new fiance Edge. Lita is so amped up about getting married to the man, that she can’t wait until Vegas, so they’re going to do it next week. 2 weddings in less than a year – wow! I actually like the Kane/Lita one. Anyways, Edge tells us that Lita is going to see the real One Eyed Monster.

Commercial break.

HHH and Flair come out to the ring, as he’s paranoid about the lastest SD! guy. Hunter says that it’s hot in the arena, and that’s because he’s on fire. He hasn’t won a match in months and he’s on fire? He focuses his attention on the latest draft pick, and calls him out. And the person to answer is…Kurt Angle! The fans still chant “You Suck”. Kurt pulls off a woo, which pisses Ric off. The two have a woo-off, but HHH stops it. Angle brings up WM 21, where he made HBK tap out, while HHH lost his title. HHH retaliates by bringing up a woman kicking Angle’s ass, but Kurt says he kinda liked that. He goes on to get the ultimate zing, by saying that what Michael Jackson got away with was nothing compared to Kurt making out with Stephanie behind Hunter’s back. HHH asks if he has a point, and apparently Kurt does. He says that he wants Batista the day after Vengeance, right on RAW. Batista finally comes out, and HHH actually stands up for Dave by saying that he trained him, and he isn’t scared of him. Batista agrees to him vs Angle next week, and it looks like everybody’s happy. HBK comes out of nowhere, and proposes him vs Angle at Vengeance. Kurt says he’s on. The two end up brawling, with HHH getting involved, as well as Batista and Flair. Sweet Chin Music on Flair! The four continue brawling as the show ends.

2)HBK/Cena

Biggest Jeers
