Last night during a commercial break on RAW, WWE.com showed bonus footage including JBL talking trash about Kevin Von Erich, including that he “beat him in Dallas for the NWA Title.”
According to Wikipedia, on January 14, 1995, John Hawk (JBL) beat Kevin Von Erich in Dallas, TX, for the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship. Hawk then lost the belt to Greg Valentine on March 18, 1995, in Dallas. At the time, the belt was a secondary championship for NWA after WCW withdrew from the National Wrestling Alliance.
