The Raw side of the European “Survivor Series” tour opened in Leipzig, Germany yesterday at the Leipzig Arena.
– Shelton Benjamin defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool with a T-Bone Suplex.
– Tajiri pinned Nick Nemeth after a kick to the head.
– Rob Conway defeated Eugene with a rollup.
– In a “Divas Body Contest” Ashley defeated Candice Michelle and Victoria. The original plan was Victoria challenging WWE Women’s champion Trish Stratus with Val Venis as special referee, but Stratus was sent to work the Italy tour with the Smackdown crew.
– Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated Val Venis & Viscera with the Sweet & Sour.
– Shawn Michaels pinned Chris Masters with Sweet Chin Music. This was originally scheduled as Michaels vs. Carlito before they reshuffled the card.
– In a non-title match, Triple H pinned WWE Intercontinental champion Ric Flair with a Pedigree.
– WWE Champion John Cena pinned Kurt Angle after 2 FU’s.
Notes: Several Raw performers who were scheduled for the show were likely sent to Italy to fill out the Smackdown show in the wake of Eddie Guerrero’s passing. The Leipzig event opened with a 10 bell count in honor of Guerrero’s memory.
