[RAW] Update on Matt Striker Injury

Archive

PWInsider.com is reporting that Matt Striker is not severely injured after this weekend’s house show, as we previously reported.

Also, Inside Pulse reader Eric Fallon sent in the following:

I was at the show last night as well. We were seated on the opposite side from where he went over the ropes, so it was hard to tell what happened. After Cade brought him in and the match ended, the ref gave the familiar “X’ sign with his arms, and people began running to the back to get help. At one point, someone attending to Striker pointed at his neck. He eventually rolled out of the ring, but it appeared that he got some sort of stinger. He walked to the back much the same way Steve Austin did after the Owen Hart match where he suffered the neck injury. He appeared to be dragging his left leg, and never moved his left arm. For what it’s worth, he cut an excellent pre-match promo. For what it’s worth, I think the overall show, especially post intermission, was much better than the Observer report said it was. Most notably, after he lost to Trevor Murdoch, Shelton Benjamin got a huge ovation when he left the ring and was more over than I’ve ever seen him on TV. Cena also ‘worked’ a better match than I’ve ever seen on TV as well…
