– PWTorch.com is reporting that Spike and TNA officials are both in favor of a two-hour prime time speical to air on Monday, February 14 while WWE is preempted on USA. However, no decision has yet been made, while budget, format, content and live/taped status are being determined. Something should be announced within the next few weeks.

– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (click here for subscription information) is reporting that Matt Cappotelli’s brain tumor is three centimeters away from affecting his vision, and he is scheduled for a biopsy to determine whether or not it is cancerous.

– WWE.com has added Mark Henry’s profile to the Smackdown Superstars page. Additionally, Mr. McMahon’s profile has been removed from the “RAW” page and now has its own link on the left menu bar of WWE.com. It can be found here. Jamie Noble and Palmer Cannon’s profiles are still not online. Thanks to Johnny for sending that along.

– WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that the Sting Tribute segment from the TNA tapings will likely be edited down heavily or turned into a video package, as it ran too long and was dissappointing. (Similarly, the cage match snafu (read spoilers for more info) at the end of Smackdown will be edited as well.) On the other hand, the six-man tag match was said to be one of the best EVER on iMPACT!
