Another hour of Jack Bauer-goodness is set to begin. The ever-sketchy President Logan now faces the tough decision of what to do with his wife in the limo of the Russian President that is set to be attacked by terrorists. The men of North America are still awaiting for the return of Elisha Cuthbert. Tony Almeida fans still have no news of the fate of their hero. Will he recover this season?
Robert Purchase joins me for another instalment of Live Coverage of ’24’ which is set to begin at 9 p.m. Eastern.
Stupid Global, they are the Canadian company with simulcast rights to ‘24′ have put the show on at 10 p.m. and instead chose to air ‘The Apprentice’ at 9 p.m. Needless to say this was a HUGE mistake. Jack Bauer could take down The Donald barehanded and blindfolded.

Romo: I’ve got an idea with what they should do with Tony Almeida. They should get Zupan ‘Murderball’ and team him up with Almeida in a wheelchair. The two of them can take over the world.

Vlad talks to some bad dudes getting ready for the attack on the Russian President Subarov.
Novak briefs Logan on the likely place the attack will take place. Logan is already trying to think of how to spin this in the media.
Novak gets a call,
Rob: He’s getting the world. Lie to him, lie to him!!
Novak tells Logan that Martha is riding with the Subarovs.
Logan is mad the Secret Service didn’t stop her. Logan is not sure what to do.
Romo: It’s a good old Catch-22.
Rob: No its not gas her.
Logan to Novak, “Get my wife on the phone.”
Martha and Mrs. Subarov discuss California produce.
Rob: There’s not going to be anymore in a few minutes.
Martha gets a call from Logan, she plays coy so the Subarov’s don’t know whats going on. Martha is not listening to Logan’s demand to get them to stop the car so she can get out.
Logan is pleading but Martha is pretending things are fine.
Rob: What a loser (Logan)
Romo: Logan is a dumbass.
Novak is worried Martha may tell the Subarovs the truth. Novak asks if he should recall the motorcade or not”¦

Audrey tells Edgar to meet her in a room.
Rob: And Edgar do up the f*cking buttons on your shirt. No one needs to see your chest hair.
Rudy is pissed at Edgar for some crap about monitoring traffic.
Rob: Rudy needs to go into the stall and jack off for ten minutes to relax.
Romo: That may have been the best line in ’24’ recap history.
Audrey calls Jack.
Romo: I like Audrey with the glasses.
Jack wants to meet up with Chris Henderson, his former boss/recruiter to CTU.
It seem Bauer outed him for some illegal activity.
Romo: ROBOCOP is coming! Robocop is coming!!
Edgar, Chloe and Audrey have some threesome action, just kidding, making sure you are still reading. They are discussing how to help Jack find the nerve gas. Edgar is told to cover for Chloe.

Logan wants to talk to Vlad to hold off until Martha is out of the car. “I can’t lose her.”
Rob: Who’s gonna make my decisions for me.
Romo: Yet he was willing to send her to the loony bin an hour ago.
Novak tells Logan there is nothing more they can do.
Martha asks Agent Pierce if there have been any changes to the route. He tells her that there have not be.
Rob: You’re gonna get gassed!!
Mrs. Subarov is concerned about Martha. Mr. Subarov knows something is up.

Rob: Sweet no Falcon Beach ads tonight, thank you Global.
Romo: But I want to hear Jackie Moss’s voice.

Some new hot CTU girl gets grilled by Rudy. Her name is Carrie and she just got fired. Edgar tries to defend her but Rudy threatens to fire him as well. Edgar tells Rudy he doesn’t know where Chloe is.
Jack Bauer is now John Barrie. Chloe gets caught helping Rudy. Audrey and Rudy get in a fight over who gets Chloe to work for them. Chloe says she is finished here and gets up to leave.
Rob: She is gonna have to call in goitre-face to solve this.
Jack reaches the company (that his old boss works for) headquarters and gets past security.
Jack walks over to a secretary and pretends to be looking for the mens room.
Jack makes a call to Audrey. He asks her to distract the secretary. Audrey calls and pretends she is from accounting and that she needs to go down.
Rob: I think the glasses give Audrey 50% more brain power and less annoyance.
After she leaves the office, Jack walks into the office gun out.
He walks into the office but Robocop is waiting for him and stuns him unconscious.
Henderson wakes up Jack with smelling salts in a bathroom. Jack tells him why he showed up. Henderson is pissed at Jack for accusing him.
Jack tells him about the terrorists. Henderson: “Good God.”
He says whoever is implicating him knows his past at CTU. He tells Jack he has nothing to do with this. Jack demands proof he had nothing to do with it.
He gives Jack his gun back as “proof.” Jack gets Henderson to give him access to Omicron’s computers.
Jack and Henderson head out, headed to see a bunker in Kansas??

Rob: Maybe they should gas Rudy.
Edgar tells Chloe he decoded some phrases, it seems to be the highways the Subarovs are taking to the airport.
Rudy asks Curtis what is going on.
Chloe tells Rudy about the possible attack on the motorcade.
Rudy doesn’t want to “waste time” on this other threat.
Curtis does not look too impressed. He tells Rudy it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pass the intel to the secret service.
Vlad tells his crew that the motorcade will be there in 20 minutes.
The crew get ready.
Vlad tells his bad dude at the main base to keep the gas armed.
Audrey tells Rudy they need to tell the secret service about the chatter. Rudy starts to YELL at Audrey. He says this could be false threat and he doesn’t want to make another mistake.
He is totally losing it.
Romo: When Edgar is cooler than you, that’s bad.
Audrey messages Chloe to meet her in the corridor. Chloe goes, Edgar joins them. Audrey wants Chloe to hack into Lynn’s account to make it look like the call to the secret service came from Lynn.
Edgar is worried about getting arrested and said “for the record this is not a good idea.”
Audrey talks to Curtis about the problem with Lynn. She wants Bill back in there. She brings up Section 112. She says he is not mentally capable of controlling CTU.
She tells Curtis he is the ranking agent and he is the only one who can invoke it.
Curtis is reticent.
Romo: C’mon Curtis step up.
Audrey pleads again, he agrees.
Meanwhile in the Subarov’s car Martha is getting worried and it shows.
Logan is approached by Novak. He tells him that the motorcade is only 15 minutes from the airport. Logan is whining to Novak.
Rob: Come on Novak, tell him to kill her.
Novak says he doesn’t have any answer. But he says if the motorcade is to turn back they need to do it now.
Logan is grappling with 100,000 lives versus his wife. He says “Damn you Martha. You brought this on yourself.”
Rob: Hahahaha. That’s awesome. If I still had MSN my name tomorrow would be Damn you Martha.
Logan asks Novak to pray with him. Novak isn’t the praying type but he gets on his knees after Logan
Edgar is working on the hack. Chloe finds out that they have been cut off
Rudy walks in and says they are going against protocol. He orders Curtis to put Chloe and Edgar into custody, Curtis refuses and Rudy freaks and orders two other guards to arrest Curtis. Curtis says he will pull his gun if they do that. He invokes Section 112. The guards asks Curtis what he wants them to do, upon his orders they take Rudy into custody who starts to threaten Curtis and everyone else.
Rob: Curtis is in charge now Son!

Curtis brings in Bill and briefs him whats going on. Bill now takes charge of CTU and starts doling out orders.
Romo: Look at Bill go. He is all over the map.
Bill calls Logan with the intel about the motorcade attack. Logan sits stunned not knowing how to respond. Novak starts talking and tells Bill that Logan is at a loss for words and says Bill’s wife is in the Subarov’s car.
Novak tells Logan there is nothing they can do now. They need to take defensive measures to lessen the gas attacks,
The dudes with rocket launchers prep for an attack. Pierce orders the motorcade to turn around. Bad duded open fire. Service guys are dying, a missile is fired and a car is exploded. The bad dudes move in on Subarov’s car. They flame thrower it. AWESOME!!
Pierce opens the door and starts shoot. Flame thrower guy explodes.
The LAPD show up. Martha is ok, so is Pierce and the Subarovs are alive.
Novak gets a call about the attack. He tells Logan that his wife is alive.
Rob: And now comes the gas.
Logan is worried about Vlad’s retaliation.

Romo: I agree, someone should have died.

Jack and Henderson go to the “bunker” which is not actually in Kansas. Its in the building. Henderson is gonna look over the files to figure out who is working on the project.
Jack tells Henderson that Bill is in charge at CTU, “What a stiff.” Henderson tells Jack he was framed by Nina or George. He says it hurts him that Jack didn’t believe him.
Romo: oh a heart to heart.
Henderson gets the info. The guy in charge is dead. Two other guys working on the project died one by drowning, another a car accident.
Henderson left and Jack is now locked in, the phones aren’t working.
Rob: Oldest trick in the book and you fell for it.
Jack finds what looks like a bomb counting down.
Henderson calls someone and he tells the person CTU doesn’t have enough info. He gets in his car and drives off.
Jack starts to pull up the floor panels and puts the bomb it between two doors, he puts a heavy cabine beides the doors.
Henderson pulls out a trigger and blows the bomb.
Jack is buried by rubble but mostly unharmed. Jack pulls his gun and tries to move out of the room.
Novak tells Logan to deny to the terrorists they don’t know how CTU go the info.
Vlad calls and Logan says the action stoping the attack. Vlad says now an attack will happen upon America hangs up”¦

Rob: Great way to end
It seems a company in Boston (I get the Boston feed) has the same name as Omicron, who makes the syntax gas on ‘24′. Yes that is the top story on local Boston news.
Romo: It looks like we get two hours of ‘24′ next week.
Yes preview of next week”¦it starts at 8 p.m. for two hours. Elisha is coming back. They show the gas getting released.
Final Comments
Rob: Tonight we saw the rise and fall of young Rudy. A for effort, F for execution. His time has gone, we now live in the age of Curtis..
Romo: Not many people at CTU will be chanting RUDY, RUDY. Quick question, what is it about former hobbits that get cast as the most hated person in an ensemble cast (Charlie aka Merry in Lost being the other). I want to see Eiljah on ‘ER’ as the annoying Man-nurse whom tries to make passes at every patient, male and female, that enters the hospital.
