[MISC] Updates on Earthquake, Mark Madden, Paul Bearer & More

– Mark Madden is said to be recovering from his minor heart attack, and has already returned to his radio show. He had two stents put in and was told to watch his diet.

– John “Earthquake” Tenta has been updating his fans on his health in his forums here. He has been undergoing chemo treatment for cancer. He is also working on his book.

– Dave Carrell, a FL indie wrestler has a tumor in his colon. He was scheduled for surgery on 2/4.

– Paul Bearer was concussed with a chairshot at his Gulf South Wrestling show, hit by Kevin Northcut. He is okay.

– Real Pro Wrestling doesn’t have a TV deal, so a second season is in question.

– Deep South Wrestling has gotten a TV deal, airing at 11am every Saturday on WCAG-33, LaGrange, GA (not available on cable, however).

– Saturday Night’s Main Event which will air live at 8pm ET on March 18 will air from 2-4am in the UK.

– Recently on Bubba the Love Sponge’s radio show, Hulk Hogan claimed to have “gotten paid” as a result of the Russo/WCW/Turner-related lawsuit.

– Chyna Doll is in “Fame Game” on VH-1 and Brian Knobbs is pitching a show called “Trailer Park Justice.”

– Low Ki left Ring of Honor pretty much due to money. He smoothed things out with Jarrett in the UK and may be coming back.
