Goldust vs. Rob Conway
Funny how there’s a fast-foward sign in the crowd… almost makes me want to click that button on the bottom of my screen now. But anyway, Goldust gets the upper hand, getting a err… but block, hitting Conway to the ground and setting him up in the corner for the shattered dreams. But the ref stops the move, giving Conway some time to go for the eyes as he overturns on Goldust. Take down and a few elbow drops goes for two consecutive 2 count falls. Headlock slows things down until Goldust fights out of the move, getting a hanging uppercut on Conway from the ropes, before doing the 10 rights in the corner. Bulldog attempt is reversed and Conway gets another 2! And out of nowhere, Goldust gets a clothesline for the win.
Winner: Goldust

Matt Striker vs. Mike Ciatso
Striker makes his way down to the ring, before giving us another lesson. But from here on out, the ring will be his new classroom. Striker gets in a few hold reversals in before slapping Mike hard across the face and rolling him up for two! Another slap gets the boos from the crowd, that gives the jobber a few offensive moves in to go for the pin. Things dont stay that way as Striker starts to unload on Mike in the corner, giving a running kick to the chin, setting him up for a modified DDT for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Matt Striker

Lance Cade vs. Val Venis
This match takes a VERY long time to get underway as both guys finally lock up 5 minutes into the match or so. Venis takes out Cade with a few arm drags and a chop to the chest, sending him against the ropes with a shoulder block to get a two count! Venis twist the arm, but Cade finally bounces Venis off the ropes and hits a huge clothesline to give him the advantage. Cade follows that up with an elbow drop of his own, spinning Val into the ropes as he starts to slug it out with a few rights and lefts before finally trying for the pin, only for two! Cade turns his attention to the neck of Venis, setting it up into the typical sleeper hold of the match as Venis moves out with a back suplex. Standing count starts as both ment get up and Venis stays with the upper hand, kick to the face and knockdown sets up the Money shot from the top, but Cade gets up before Venis can pull of the move, instead vying for a cross body that gets reversed into a roll up in which Cade uses the ropes to get the win.
Winner: Lance Cade

Chavo Guerrero vs. Snitsky
The main EVENT is underway with the Eddie chant ringing through the arena. Missed clothesline by Snitsky is the only offense try we get for a while as Chavo runs in and out of the ring, before getting stomped on by Snitsky. Chavo is pulled up by the big guy, attempting a sunset flip to no avail, sending him with a huge tackle into the ropes. Snitsky making the match look easy as very little offense comes out of Chavo, pushing him into a bear hug. Chavo finally makes his way out of it, as he starts to focus on the legs in Snitsky and even hitting a leg scissors take down, but failing to sling Snitsky off the ropes. Missile drop kick however, gets Chavo back on track for a moment, before getting knocked down for the attempted frog splash. Snitsky nails another clothesline and goes for the powerbomb, but is reversed at the last second as Chavo pulls off a DDT, hooking the leg in the pin to pull off the upset.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero

The HEAT Wave
Tis was the week to have very short matches. There’s a good chance that you could skip through the first five minutes of each segment and still not miss the opening bell of the match. Also don’t expect the winners of this week’s match to pull out their finishers as we got a whole bunch of sudden typical move endings.
