Travis “Tyson” Tomko asked for his release last night at RAW, and it was granted this morning.
Tomko asked for the release, according to PWInsider.com, due to being told by WWE creative that he and Snitsky would be getting a tag team push after Mania, only to see Gene paired with Goldust last night at the Heat tapings.
Goldust and Gene Snitsky are reportedly going to stay together as a “freak” team, playing off of the Wrestlemania skit. Goldust is not expected to dress up like “Oprahdust” in the future.
In other roster news, Chavo Guerrero’s bio has been removed from WWE.com’s RAW Superstars page, in line with his “quitting” on RAW last night.
