Looking Ahead

I can’t sleep, it’s 6am, I’ve had my fill of early-morning porn, and I’ve had a nice fatty fry-up. What else is there left to do? Why, bash this out of course.

Proceed with caution.

Linking Ahead

Saturday AM RAW Report for April 8, 2006 – Funny as f*ck.

The Anti-Pulse – Robbed my idea (that I more than likely stole from somebody else).

Wrestling News, Opinions, Etc., 04.04.06 – I’d make an excellent wife thank you very much. I can cook, I clean and I have a lovely firm ass. But, alas, I’m a bloke. Sorry Eric. X X.

You Complete Bar Steward! – Great article man. Nice ass too.

The Crucifix – Sole owner of the term “Adios” on InsidePulse. Nevermind… I’ve got a better term for goodbye. See at the end of the article.

News… in the Present!

King of the Ring has been brought back

Top stuff. I always liked the KotR concept. I can’t be bothered to check, but I hope it replaces the ever-so-shitty Great American Bash PPV.

Randy Orton gets suspended for 60 days due to unprofessional conduct

Nice timing Randy. You remember last year when Rhyno/Rhino got fired for making a scene with his wife at a hotel during WrestleMania weekend? Mania is Vince’s baby, and nobody f*cks with Vince or Vince’s baby. Unless it’s Stephanie. Slurp.

Vince is all stressed out from constantly changing the match results and here you come strolling along in your tight white tank top and your speedos, flaunting the dress code and generally being a prick. What do you think’s gonna happen?

Moral of the story is… don’t f*ck up during WrestleMania Weekend.

On his Myspace blog account thing, John Cena posted the following:

“These people “boo” because they want to see another side of me. they want me to turn “heel”. what you dont realize is that during these times in which enitre arenas tell me i suck, there are still those that will stand by me and fight. The “smart fan” wants me to be a “heel” because they think it will be cool”

No, John, we don’t want you to turn heel. We want you to drop the title back to Edge and go play with the mid-carders for a while. And learn to wrestle. And learn how to brawl. And learn how to… ah f*ck it. I’ve not got enough time.

Basically.. your gimmick is a shitty 80’s throwback and belongs on SmackDown, the kiddies show.

The Card So Far

Triple Threat WWE World Championship Match
John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Edge

Vince & Shane McMahon vs. HBK and God

Rumors, Thoughts, Etc…

I hope to… er… God that the fans start chanting “Let’s Go God” during the tag match. And Vince starts throwing jabs at the air around the ring post where God would be standing.

Predictions and the like…

World Title Triple Threat Match

I think any chance Trips has of winning is written off seeing as he’s going to be a father in a couple of months.

As much as I hate to say it, I’d keep the title on Cena just because of the awesome mixed reactions he gets from the crowd. If he drops the strap, where does he go from there? At least with the World Title around his waist, he can justify the mixed reactions.

Then he can do the right thing and lose to Edge at the next big PPV.

HBK & God vs. the McMahon’s Tag Match

I’ve got a bad feeling that towards the end of the match, when HBK is being beaten down, the lights will go off, and when they come back on, both Vince and Shane will be laying on the mat with HBK covering Vince.

That would be funny though.

Why this feud is being continued is beyond me though. Where can they take this? HBK won, Vince lost. Let’s leave it at that and move HBK onto a feud with Edge or somebody.

Other matches on the card will probably be:

Carlito vs. Chris Masters

This is pretty much certain given the Carlito turn on Raw this past week. After Carlito wins, look for Masters to be drafted to Smackdown and Carlito to being a feud with Shelton for the IC title. That should be interesting now that both men have switched sides.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James for the WWE Women’s Title

The bad thing about Backlash is that we get to see WrestleMania rematches, but with less hype and build.

I’ll go with Mickie retaining the gold, as it’s too soon to drop it back to Trish yet. They’ll save that for when Melina get’s drafted.

Big Show & Kane vs. The Spirit Squad

Spirit Squad will retain the tag straps thank to the other 3 guys who aren’t the champs. Whoever they are.

Maybe we’ll get to see the inevitable heel turn from Kane or Big Show after the match.

That leaves 2 tag teams on Raw. 2 guys from Spirit Squad and Goldust & Snitsky, and that’s even if they go with that odd couple.

Inagi vs. Ric Flair

Now we’ll get to see if Jamal or whatever he’s calling himself these days has learnt anything during his time in Japan. Here’s hoping.

Shelton Benjamin vs. RVD

I only said RVD because he’s the only other valid IC title contender. There’s nobody else that would justify a title match. RVD needs to do something until ECW:ONS2. It’s either compete for the IC title, or have somebody challenge Rob for his title shot.

Draft Lottery

Every week until whenever they do the draft, I’ll be bringing you a recommendation for somebody to be moved.

This week.. it’s Ken Kennedy

He’d improve no end with the “live” atmosphere of Raw. Plus he’s pretty over, and Raw needs more upper mid-carders desperately.

The Aura is Fading…

‘Lost’ just keeps bringing the goods. Locke’s gotta be pissed that he can’t go off exploring. Serves him right for having a temper.

As for the direction the shows going… Personally I’d rather the “others” be another band of castaways, rather than some kind of corporation that uses fake beards and shit like that.

No big plans for the rest of the week. I’m going to a fairground run by some Thieving Gyppo’s tomorrow night. Should be fun. Rest assured I’ll be leaving my wallet at home.

Anyway, I’m going now. See you all next week.

Toodle-oo!

Damn Hevia…
